In an isosceles Triangle ,
P=B
Using Pythagoras theorem,
(H)^2 = (P)^2+(B)^2
here H = 8
Let P=B=a
(8)^2= (a)^2+(a)^2
(8)^2= 2a^2
64 =2 a^2
64/2= 2a^2
a^2 = 32
a=√32 =5.6 cm
then,
P=5.6 cm
B=5.6 cm
P=B
Using Pythagoras theorem,
(H)^2 = (P)^2+(B)^2
here H = 8
Let P=B=a
(8)^2= (a)^2+(a)^2
(8)^2= 2a^2
64 =2 a^2
64/2= 2a^2
a^2 = 32
a=√32 =5.6 cm
then,
P=5.6 cm
B=5.6 cm
