Step-by-step explanation:

In the triangle ABC,

Angle B = 90° and AB = BC

Proof

Since B =90° , ABC Is a right angled triangle

So according to Pythagorean Theorm

AB^2 +BC^2 = AC^2

=> AB^2 +AB^2 = AC^2 (BecauseAB = BC)

=> 2AB^2 = AC^2

=> AC^2 = 2AB^2

=> AC = √(2AB^2)

=> AC = √2 AB (proved)
