Answer:

let side of each side = x cm

hypotenuse= h=5√2

base=b= x cm

perpendicular= p= x cm

using phythagoras theorem,

(h)^2=(b)^2+(p)^2

(5√2)^2= x^2+x^2

25×2= 2(x)^2

50/2= x^2

25 =x^2

x=√25=5 cm

so length of each side is 5 cm

☞In an isosceles right angled triangle if the hypotenuse is 5 under root 2 cm then find the length of the sides of the triangle ?

Answer

→let \: each \: side \: will \: be \: x

→hypotenuse \:  -  \: 5√2

→base \:  = x \: cm \: and \: perpendicular \:  =  \: x \: cm.

→( {hypotenuse})^{2}  = ( {base})^{2}  + ( {perpendicular})^{2}

→( {5√2})^{2}  =  {x \: }^{2}  +  {x}^{2}

→25 \:  \times 2 \:  = 2 {x}^{2}

 →\frac{50 }{2}  =  {x}^{2}

→25 =  {x}^{2}

→x = √25

☞x \:  = 5cm.

hence \: length \: of \: each \: side \: is \: 5cm.
