In a isosceles right angled triangle,
Length If hypotenuse = 8 cm
length of other two sides = ?
Let the length of the other two sides be x cm.
Then, by Pythagoras theorem,
x² + x² = (8)²
=> 2x² = 64
=> x² = 64/2
=> x = √32
=> x = 4√2 cm
Therefore, length of the remaining sides is 4√2 cm each.
