In an isosceles the vertex angle is half the base angle. (take base angle be 'm' in degree and remember sum of the angle of a s is 180.

Let the base angles be m ( base angles are equal in isosceles triangle)

Vertex angle= m/2

According to the question,

m+m+m/2= 180 (ASP)

➡️ 2m + m/2= 180

➡️ 5m/2= 180

➡️ 5m= 360

➡️ m= 72

So base angles are 72 degrees

and vertex angle is 1/2 x 72= 36 degrees
