In ∆ABC ,

AB=BC

angle B = angle C [ angles

opp. to equal

sides are

equal ]

angle B = angle C =65

By angle sum property of ∆ ,

angle A = 50

Since, angle A is the shortest angle .

Therefore , side BC opp. to angle A is the shortest side.
