By applying pythagorus theorem in triangle ADB we get equation in terms of AD then again applying pythagorus theorem in triangle ADC we get another equation in terms of AD then by solving them you get the value of AD =7CM and then by putting value of x in equation 1 you get the lenght of altitude which is 24cm
