(AB)² = 2(AC)²

(AB)² = (AC)²+ (AC)²

∵AC = BC

(AB)² = (AC)²+ (BC)², This equation comes out as Property of Right angle traingle or also known as Pythagoras theorem.

And △ABC is a right angle triangle.
