In an isosceles triangle ABC, PQ is drawn parallel to BC cutting AB, AC at P and Q. Prove that triangle
APQ is an isosceles.​

Answer:

by mid point theorem

AP = 1/2 AB .........(1)

BQ = 1/2 AC ........(2)

AND AB = AC ...... [isosles triangle]

Divide by 2 on both sides

1/2 AB = 1/2 AC

From (1) and (2)

AP = BQ

So , triangle APQ is isosles triangle.
