in an isosceles triangle ABC with AB is equals to AC,D and E are points on BC such that B is equals to CD show that AD is equals to AE?

Here's your answer.. ⬇⬇

⚫ Given :- In isosceles ∆ABC, AB = AC
BE = CD

⚫ To Prove :- AD = AE

⚫ Proof :- AB = AC

angle C = angle B ----( opposite angles of equal sides are also equal. ) ( eq.1 )

In ∆ACD and ∆ABE,

AB = AC ----- ( Given )
angle C = angle B ----- ( from eq.1 )
BE = CD ----- ( Given )

By SAS congruence ∆ACD = ∆ABE.

Hence, AD = AE -- ( Proved )
