Sum of the angles in a triangle = 180°

Here, it is given an isosceles triangle. In an isosceles triangle, two sides are equal. If two sides are equal, the angles between them will also be equal.

So, it is given that the vertex angle is 50°.

The base angles is to be found out. And they are equal that I have mentioned it above.

Let the two base angles be x and x.

Because two of them are equal.

So,

50° + x + x = 180°

2x = 180° - 50°

x = 130° ÷ 2

x = 65°.

That is, the two base angles are 65° and 65°.
