since right angle at C,
then
AB will be the hypotenuse
so now using Pythagoras theorem, we have
AB²=AC²+BC²,
AB²=AC²+AC²,. (since ∆ is isosceles so AC=BC)
hence
AB²=2AC²
then
AB will be the hypotenuse
so now using Pythagoras theorem, we have
AB²=AC²+BC²,
AB²=AC²+AC²,. (since ∆ is isosceles so AC=BC)
hence
AB²=2AC²
