Answer:

since in isosceles triangle 2 angles are equal let them be x and it is given that vectex angle is 2x

therefore x+x+2x =180 (sum of angles of a triangle is 180)

4x=180

x=45

and vertex angle =2x=90

Base angles = 2x each

Total angles = 2x + 2x + x = 180

5x=180

x = 36degree

vertex angle = 36

Base angles=2x=72 degrees each
