In an isosceles triangle the base angle is twice as large as the vertex. Find the angles of the triangle

  • Let the vertex angle be x.
  • So base angles are 2 x .

A/Q, 2 x + 2 x + x = 180

   5 x = 180

   x  = 36


Angles are :

  • 72 , 72 and 36.
