the base angle be x
2 angles then 2 x
vertex angle is 2 times base angle that is 2 x
then total sum is 180
x+x+2 x=180
4 x=180
x=180/4
x=45
hence the base angle is 45
and vertex angle is 90
therefore it is an isosceles triangle
