In an isosceles triangle, the base angles are equal. The vertex angle is thrice of either
base angle. What are the angles of the triangle?

Answer:

let the base angles be x,

therefore according to given condition 3rd angle is 3x

from angle sum property of triangle,

x+x+3x=180

5x=180

x=180/5

x=36

therefore the three angles are,

36°, 36° and 3 x 36=108°
