we know that sum of triangle is 180.

in isosceles triangle 2 angles are equal.
let equal angle be -x

X+X+50°=180°
2X=180°-50°
2X=130°
X=65°

so hence equal angles(base) are 65°

let the base angle be x
if we take a triangle ABC, with AC=AB,
the angleC=angle B
therefore,
angleA + angleB + angleC = 180. (angle sum property of a triangle)
50 + x + x = 180
50 + 2x = 180
x = 65
