In an isosceles triangle , the bigger side is twice the equal sides. If the perimeter is 40 cm.,find its length​

Let x be the two similar sides. So the bigger will be 2 * x = 2x

2x + x + x = 40

4x = 40, x = 10 cm

Bigger side = 2 * 10 = 20 cm.

Equal sides = 1 * 10 = 10 cm.
