Let the unequal side be a cm

Length of each equal side = 2a + 2 cm

Perimeter = 2 ( Length of equal side) + Length of unequal side

=> 34 = 2 ( 2a + 2) + a

=> 34 = 4a + 4 + a

=> 30 = 5a

=> a = 6

First side = 2a + 2 = 2 × 6 + 2 = 14 cm

Second side = 2a + 2 = 2× 6 + 2 = 14 cm

Third side = a = 6 cm

Let the unequal side be x cm.
Then equal sides are 2x+2.

perimeter of triangle=34cm
2x+2+2x+2+x=34
5x+4=34
5x=34-4
5x=30
x=30/5
=6

so unequal side=6cm
equal sides=2×6+2
12+2=14.
