Let the equal sides be x

Then, the unequal side = 1.5x

Perimeter = 28 cm

Therefore, x +x + 1.5x = 28

or, 3.5x = 28

or, x = 28/3.5

or, x = 8

Hence, The length of the equal sides = 8 cm

The length of the unequal side = 8 X 1.5 = 12

[sum of the sides = 8 + 8 +12 = 28]
