in an isosceles triangle, the vertex angle is 50°. what are the base angles of the triangle?

As it is an isosceles triangle, the base angles (the angles opposite to equal sides) must be equal. So each angle will be of 65° each.

the vertex angle is 50°
so sum of total degrees=180
so 180-50=130
130 ÷2 =65
thus, the Base angle is 65°
