Explanation: Since the sum of the interior angles of any triangle adds up to 180∘ and also the base angles of an isosceles triangle are equal,we may let the base angles be x , then the vertex angle is 2x . ∴x+x+2x=180∘ . ∴x=45∘

if issoceles triangle then it's two angles are equal

so let both base angle be equal

let both base angle be x

then According to question

vertex angle = 2x of base angle

as we know sum of angles of triangle = 180 °

then

2x + x + x = 180 °

4x = 180 °

x = 45 °

then base angle be 45°

and vertex angle be 2x = 2(45)

so vertex angle 90°
