vertical angle=40 degree

sum of angles of a triangle=180 degree

let the other two angles be x (as the both angles r equal by theorem)

x+x+40=180

2x=140

x=70 degree

Solution:

Let ∆A = 40

In ∆ABC

∆A+∆B+∆C = 180

40+∆B+∆B = 180

2∆B = 180-40

2∆B = 140

∆B = 140/2

∆B = 70

Hope it helps you.....
