In an isosceles trianglethe lenght of the non parallel sides are 17cm. and the parallel sides are 33cm. and 48cm.respectively. find the area of the trapezium.

In triangle BEC by Heron's Formula you can find the area of triangle.

After getting the answer by Heron's Formula compare it with 1/2xbxh. This is to get the height of the triangle.


Since, the height of triangle= the height of trapezium.

Therefore, you can easily find the area as you have parallel sides and height.
