In an isoscelese triangle ABC with AB=AC, D and E are the points on BC such that BE=CD show that AD=AE​

to proof - AD= AE

proofs - AB=AC,BE=CD

let the ABE and ACD

AB =AC (given )

BE=CD(given)

angle( ACD) = angle (ABE) ( angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

so ABE congruence ACD ( SAS Cong.)

AD=AE(CPCT)
