In an office there are 108 tables and 132 chairs . if 1/6 of the tables and 1/4 of the chairs are broken . how many people can work in the office if each person requires one table and one cair?

No of tables broken =1/6(108)
=18
No of chairs broken =1/4(132)
=33
So no tables can be use=108-18
=90
No of chairs can be use=132-33
=99
Hence only 90 persons can work in the office
