Trisha: 10 correct answers =>10*4=40

9 incorrect answers =>9*-1=-9

Therefore total score is 40-9=31.

Mahima: 8 correct answers =>8*4=32

But total score is 20.

Therefore 12 marks must be reduced from the correct answers score(32-12=20)

Therefore 12 incorrect answers(since for every incorrect answer 1mark is reduced).

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1.Trisha's score=10*4+9*(-)1=40-9=31

2. Mahima:

Score=20

let wrong question=x

score=8*4+x(-1)=20

32-x=20

x=32-20=12

so wrong answers=12
