In an orchard, there are 156 chickoo trees in 6 rows. If all the rows have an equal number of trees, how many trees would there be in 15 such rows​

Answer: Total number of trees =48+60+96=204

Each of the trees are exactly divisible by 12, i.e. HCF of 48,60,96.

∴

=17 rows are possible.

Number  \: of  \: Chickoo  \: tress  \: in \:  1  \: rows  = \frac{156}{6}  = 26

Number \:  of  \: Chickoo  \: tress  \: in \:  6  \: rows : 15 \:  = 26 \times 15

 = 390
