given 11x/10= (29y/25) + 9---------------------------------------------------------2

by solving the equations 1 and 2 we get,

x = 140 and y = 125

∴ x + y = 265 is the total number of employees present at the first

and 11x/10 + 29y/25 = 154 + 145 = 299 at the last
