In an parllelogram measure of adjacent sides are 34 and 20 and one of the diagnal is 42 find the arwa ofparllelogram

we know that the base of parallelogram is 34 and one more side is 20 . If diognal =42.

In the figure lets take one triangle and find its area

according to herons formula

s =a +b+c ÷2

=34+ 20 +42 ÷2

= 48

now : root of s×s-a×s- ×s-c

= root of 48 × 48-34 × 48-20×48-42

=336 if one triangle of parallelogram is

336 then one triangle = 336 ×2= 672 is area
