Number of girls is = x + 50

According to the question :-

Therefore,

Total number of students in school

= Total number of girls + Total number of boys

⟶ x + x + 50 = 1070

⟶ 2x + 50 = 1070

⟶ 2x = 1070 - 50

⟶ 2x = 1020

⟶ x = 510

Total number of boys is 510.

= x + 50
