Force on electron in X ray is given by

F = 10 * 10^{-23} kg

mass of electron is given as

m = 10 * 10^{-31} kg

now acceleration of the electron is given as

a = \frac{F}{m}

a = \frac{10* 10^{-23}}{10* 10^{-30}}

a = 10^7 m/s^2

now the distance covered is given by

d = \frac{1}{2}at^2

given that d = 0.1 m

0.1 = \frac{1}{2}* 10^7 t^2

t^2 = 2 * 10^{-8}

t = 1.4 * 10^{-4} s

so the time taken by the electron is 0.14 ms
