The Godavari is India's second longest stream once the Ganga. Its supply is in Triambakeshwar. It flows 1465 kilometres.

It flows in the area of Maharashtra, Telangana, Aandhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka,Odisha and emptying into Bay of Bengal.

It is also known as Dakshin Ganga.
