the process of formation of microspore force from diploid microspore mother cell through meiotic cell division inside the microsporangia or pollen sacs is called microsporogenesis.

megasporogenesis:

It is the process of formation of haploid megaspores from diploid megaspore mother cell (MMC) by meiotic division.
