in annual examination, ankita got 10% less markbthan Ekta in mathematics.Ankita got 81 marks.the mark of ekta are ?

marks of ankita=81
ekta's mark were=10% less than that of ankita's...

here..figure out that
10% of 81=10/100*81
=1/10*81
=81/10
=8.1

as ekta scored less..
=81-8.1
=72.9
OR
=73

But according to question-

Ankita got 81 marks

So,difference is-

81=90

Suppose that Ekta got 100 marks.

Then,

Marks of Ankita=90

(Because Ankita got 10% less marks than Ekta)

But according to question-

Ankita got 81 marks

So,difference is-

81=90

Then 100= 100×•9=90..Answer
