200student will pass

honeyr: actual candidate=2500
paper1 failed student = 35
paper2 failed student = 42
student failed on both = 15
assume no of candidate = 100
paper 1 passed = 100-35=>65
paper 2 passed = 100-42=58. failed in paper1 only=35-15=20
failed in paper2 only=42-15=27
candidate failed both paper=20+27+15=62
candidate Passed both paper=100-62=38
candidate Passed in paper1 only = 65-38=27
candidate Passed in paper2 only=58-38=20
either passed in paper1 & 2 = 27+20 =47
but actual student = 2500 in question
so 2500 *47/100 =1175.
honeyr: So ur answer is wrong

Total is 100%
let x % be the passing students
35+42+15+x=100
x=100-92
= 8%
Passing students in no.= 8/100*2500
= 200 students

honeyr: actual candidate=2500

paper1 failed student = 35

paper2 failed student = 42

stud/
honeyr: actu

student failed on both = 15

assume no of candidate = 100

paper 1 passed student = 100-35=>65

paper 2 passed student = 100-42=58

students failed in paper1 only=35-15=20

students failed in paper2 only=42-15=27

candidate failed both paper=20+27+15=62

candidate Passed both paper=100-62=38

candidate Passed in paper1 only = 65-38=27

candidate Passed in paper2 only=58-38=20

either passed in paper1 & 2 = 27+20 =47

but actual student = 2500 in question

so 2500 *47/100 =1175
honeyr: Sorry the comment is too big.i showed into two parts.
