YES, THE DIGGING OF TUBEWELLS IS RESTRICTED. Because Groundwater is also used by plants. And other purposes. So if there will be shortage of Groundwater then plants can't grow there or Other purposes cannot be Completed. But when The Groundwater is replanished or Recharged then the restrictions will be removed. PLEASE MARK THIS AS THE BRAINLIEST QUESTION.

There should be restrictions on digging bore Wells with certain conditions because because water has become so precious that the days are not far away to fight over water.
Water is used for various purposes like drinking, washing, irrigation, industries etc.
So if over use of water takes place then posterity has to suffer in future.
Not only access to water but safe and clean water should be provided.
So restrictions with strict implementation on digging of borewells is the need of hour at those places where water shortage is seen
