adding equation (1) and (2)

bc + ca + bc - ca = 23 + 7

2bc = 30

therefore, bc = 15

putting bc= 15 in equation (1)

15 + ca = 23

ca = 23 - 15 = 8

BC = 15 and CA = 8

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

ab² = bc² + ca²

ab² = (15)² + (8)²

ab² = 225 + 64

ab = √289 = 17

then, sin A = P/H = bc/ab= 15/17

and tan B = P/B = ac/bc = 8/15
