In the given arrangement we may conclude that A and B will not show any motion now thus we may say that they are in equilibrium.

Now the normal due to 4 kg block in the system will be given by mg i.e (black marker)

assumed that g=10m/s^2

mass so T(4) = 40N

similarly T(2) = 20N

Here tensions and normal are same as string is perpendicular and tension is also perpendicular so pulley have two tensions (orange marker)

so both of tensions will result in an overall tension of 20N as

40-20= 20N
