Ether will evaporate faster than Alcohol. Ethanol and isopropanol boil at a lower temperature than water, which generally means that they will evaporate quicker than water.

ether will evaporate faster the water because of the following reasons:

  • BOILING POINT: the boiling point of water is greater than that of ether. so when the boiling point is greater then the vapor pressure will be low.
  • INTERMOLECULAR FORCES: when the intermolecular forces are greater then the boiling point will be greater then the vapor pressure will be low. the intermolecular forces of water is greater than that of ether and so the vapor pressure will be low and the boiling point will be greater
