cross pollination may have occurred due to which fertilisation occurred through pollen grains from other plants' flowers.

Being a bisexual flower does not necessarily eliminate any possibilities of cross pollination; in fact most bisexual flowers device special features to ensure cross pollination.
Therefore removal of young stamens poses no major problem to fertilization or fruit formation.
