In brainly.in perimeter of a square and a rectangular shape if the side of the square is 15 cm and one side of a rectangle is 18 cm find the area of the rectangle

Hello,

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle
So,
4 * side = 2(l+b)
Or,
4*15 = 2(18 + b)
Or,
36 + 2b = 60
Or,
2b = 60 - 36 = 24
Or,
b = 24/2 = 12 cm

Now,
Area of rectangle = l * b = 18 * 12 = 216 cm²
