in British India periods there are about 564 princely states. All fought to keep out of British ruling. States are always ruled by some one.
Britishers were collecting taxes from Indian kings about 10% and they collect about 50% as tax from the comman man.
Still same system is followed by Indian government ...
when Indian kings were looting more than Britishers what was the need of Independence ?
