Ans: Structural formula of butane (C4H10) is :  CH3-CH2-CH2-CH3. Number of Carbon -Carbon bonds = 3Number of Carbon- Hydrogen bonds = 10Total number of bonds in Butane = =Number of Carbon -Carbon bonds + Number of Carbon- Hydrogen bonds  = 3 +10 =13
