Percentage of bromine = 10%

Solution:

Atomic mass of silver is = 108 g/mol

Atomic mass of bromine = 80 g/mol

Formula:

Percentage of bromine = molar mass of bromine/  molar mass of silver bromide × mass of silver bromide × 100 / mass of organic compound

Now we will put the values in formula.

Percentage of bromine = 80g/mol /  188 g/mol × 0.188 g × 100 / 0.8 g

Percentage of bromine = 8 /0.8

Percentage of bromine = 10%
