in case a,brother and sister are very closey related.in case b the girl and her 1st cousin are also related .out of these two cases which are closely related and why

Case 1 Because they have common ancestors in 1 generation before them i.e their parents BUT CASE 2 have common ancestors in 2 generations before them i.e. Their grandparents
