In case of co-valent bonds atoms form bonds in order to complete their octet...
Then how in case of h3po4 , phosphorus forms 3 single bonds with OH and a double bond with O.
On counting total no of electrons shared by phosphorus we get 10 electrons. How is it possible plz explain ???

ALL THE OXYGEN ATOMS HAVE COMPLETE D THIER OCTET BY SHARING ELECTRONS WITH PHOSPHOROUS AND HYDROGEN

I HOPE THIS HELPS ( ╹▽╹ )
