In case of single celled organism a single cell can perform the function of taking food, exchange of gases, removal of waste etc........ So there is no need of more cells.

The organism that are made up of just a single cell are called uni-celluar organisms

The single celled organism does not have specific organs for taking in food , removal of waste and exchange of gases because there whole body is within the contact with Environment and they easily exchange gas , take in food and remove waste through diffusion process
