Yes, there are many places where they cleared forests, water bodies and air has been polluted very badly. Example of this situation is the great Ganga river which has been polluted by various reasons.1) Increase in populaton.
2) Human activities such as bathing, washing clothes and cleaning animals etc....
3) Dumping harm full industrial
waste into the rivers.
4) People are throwing dead bodies in the river Ganga for some religious beliefs.
It's estimated that more than 3000 Millon liters of untreated sewage from these towns along the Ganga is pumpedalong within the river. It becomes the sixth most polluted river in the world.
