In chapter the dear departed , how can you say that the grandfather was insensitive??

if we are do consider the positive part of the story and that of a grandfather we can say that what a grandfather did was right because he gave his All property to the old lady who had a pleasure having him considering the negative side of his character he was insensitive because rather than giving all his property to his family members he gave it to someone else Where's insensitive because he was not able to identify the action of Victoria towards him who was his grandchild so in this way we can say that he was insensitive to the feelings and emotions of his family but I think that what he did was right Victoria is just a child and his love with the child would remain same
